Heidi Childs is living since 24 years now in Qld, Australia, migrating from Hamburg, Germany in 1979.

She travelled extensively through East Asia before that time and was inspired by those journeys to write her book "DOWN UNDER" now.

She also written and illustrated books for children like "Lalafule and the 4 Crazy Ones Around their Trip of the World".

Together with her sister Conny Beggerow she also written the books "Beggerow about Beggerow" and "How to tell your own future".

Conny Beggerow lives still in Hamburg and does her own carpet designs of European Culture. She works as a Graphic Designer in Hamburg.

Heidi also was involved helping disadvantaged children in Australia in the past. She designed her own calendar and raised so money for toys and medical equipment.

Through an article in the Australian Post "Aussies against the Death Penalty" she got involved to help prisoners in Death Row Texas USA.
